Gay’s the Word is a very friendly and helpful bookshop which holds a wide range of books on issues of sexuality, including those for parents and young people: Gay's the Word, 66 Marchmont Street, London WC1N 1AB  Tel: 020 7278 7654.


Amazon also has an extensive range of useful books which can be ordered on-line. However, you do need to be aware that many of them were written some years ago, in less enlightened times. You may find it helpful to read the reviews on Amazon before making your selection. Many are published in other countries and references to points of law would not be relevant in the UK.
